MADRID, Aug 3 - Smoking joints produces a memory impairment: and 'the conclusion of a study of a group of English researchers. The research, conducted by the University 'Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in Barcelona found that cannabis use affects the hippocampus, the brain region where there are circuits of neurons needed to achieve a range of cognitive functions linked with memory.
